About the Hero Mask Project:

We have proudly partnered with Hospice Brazos Valley in order to provide face masks to senior citizens in our community for free. With the purchase of a Hospice Brazos Valley one for one program mask, a second mask will be donated to a senior citizen in need. Each mask comes in a shade of green and has the Hospice Brazos Valley logo on one side and “wearing is caring” on the other side.

Each mask has a filter pocket and the ties are worn behind the head so there is no pulling on the ears. These masks are extremely comfortable and are perfect for long term wear.

You can choose to have nose wire added for a more secure fit or to prevent glasses from fogging up if you wear glasses.

They are made with 100% cotton fabric, they are machine washable, and they are made with love in a pet free/smoke free home.

Local pickup is available upon request! Leave me a note in the comments section at checkout or message me to let me know you would prefer to pickup.

Here’s an instructional video to show how to wear our masks:

Because of you, 291 senior masks will be distributed to help keep our community healthy

UPDATE MAY 30, 2020

I just crossed the 1300 mark for masks made since I started sewing them in March.

I had a conversation with a customer earlier that got me thinking about exactly how many masks these two hands have sewn. I was fairly certain it was almost 1000. I have been trying to keep notes to keep up with it. As I loaded in another sheet of vinyl to cut Hospice Brazos Valley logos for the one for one Hero masks, I added up the numbers and 🤯 I am way over 1000 and didn’t even know it 😂

This has been such a wild ride, y’all. Have I mentioned that sewing is my least favorite hobby 😅 however, I’m happy to do this for as long as there is a need  to think I’ve helped 1300 people blows my mind.

Thank you thank you thank you to all of my customers. You guys have been so amazing, especially this past week with some shipping label/tracking hiccups with the post office 🙃 I’m sewing as fast as I can!

UPDATE MAY 16, 2020

We have partnered with Hospice Brazos Valley for their one for one Hero Mask Project. For every Hospice Brazos Valley mask purchased, a second mask will be donated to a local senior citizen in need of a mask.

Each mask comes in a shade of green and has the Hospice Brazos Valley logo on one side and Wearing Is Caring on the other side. These masks have pockets for filters, use adjustable ties that go behind the head instead of pulling on the ears, and are machine washable. You can also choose to have a nose wire added for a more secure fit and to prevent your lenses from fogging up if you wear glasses. They are so comfortable!
